TwitSteps - Social Bookmarking on Twitter

For the record, I joined Twitter long after I joined HubPages. I learned about Tagfoot from some Hubbers, and joined that social bookmarking site shortly thereafter. With the bona fides out of the way, TwitSteps is a new concept combining the social networking site Twitter with the social bookmarking concept of TagFoot. I cannot add the script to HubPages.  Now you can put the code on your website and allow your visitors to use twitter to ‘bookmark’ your page!  A person just signs in to twitter via the TwitSteps app and can Tweet a comment about your site instantly.  The reference mentions your Twitter account and your website on their Twitter feed!  Now how’s  THAT for getting the message out?

 You should first visit http://twitsteps.com/ and request an Alpha invitation.  This is an ALPHA product, which comes before the BETA release so this is the ground floor!  Great for getting in early, not so great because its the first release, and could be subject to issues.  But if you want in on the lastest was to drive some traffic, increase your site's effectiveness, link your site (indirectly) to twitter, and meet a whole bunch of really outstanding people, then i suggest you give it a try.  If it doesn;t work out for you, the just delete the code from your site.  I've had it for a few days, and it works exaclty as its intended to.
